Building a Band Family

Yes—we work hard. But we also know how to have fun and celebrate together. The Pieper Band of Warriors isn’t just a program for students; it’s a community for families. From tailgates and Trunk-or-Treat to our festive Winter Break Dinner and the end-of-year Band Banquet, there are plenty of chances to come together, make memories, and enjoy the journey. Parents often connect through committee gatherings and casual socials throughout the year—because building friendships and sharing the experience is part of what makes this band family so special.

Keeping It Affordable

We understand that being part of a high-quality band program can come with expenses, but we’re committed to keeping participation accessible for every student.

Through smart budgeting, active fundraising, and strong community support, we work to reduce financial pressure.

Our fair-share fee system covers essential expenses, with opportunities to offset costs through fundraising efforts.

When families pitch in and participate in fundraising, it truly makes a difference—it helps us meet our goals and keeps things affordable for everyone.

Whether you join a committee or step into a leadership position, your time and talents truly make a difference. We invite you to meet our Executive Board and Committee Chairs who help keep everything running smoothly—and we’d love for you to be part of the team that helps make the magic happen.

Section Parents

Each instrument and guard section has a dedicated Section Parent who helps keep families informed, connected, and supported throughout the year. These volunteers serve as a helpful point of contact for section-specific questions, reminders, and encouragement—and they help build a strong sense of community within each group.
