Whether on the marching field, concert stage, or in specialized ensembles, Pieper Band of Warriors students experience growth, camaraderie, and artistry that prepares them for success in music, movement and beyond.

Concert Ensembles
The Pieper BoW is proud to offer four different Concert Ensembles. Our Concert Ensembles form the foundation of the band program. These ensembles perform high-quality literature in formal concerts and UIL evaluations, offering students the chance to refine their tone, technique, and ensemble skills. Placement is determined by audition, ensuring each student is challenged and supported at the appropriate level.
Jazz Ensemble
The Pieper Jazz Ensembles offer students the chance to explore the rich world of jazz, funk, swing, and blues. Through improvisation, and small group collaboration, students develop their musicality and stylistic versatility. The Jazz Ensembles perform throughout the community and in festivals, bringing energy and style to every performance.
Percussion Ensembles
Percussion students have a wide array of performance opportunities throughout the year. From the powerful battery and front ensemble in marching season to stand-alone percussion and steel drum ensembles in the spring, students explore a diverse range of instruments and musical styles. Our percussion program emphasizes both technical mastery and musical expression.
Marching Band
The Band of Warriors Marching Band is the most visible and spirited ensemble, representing our school at football games, parades, community events, and UIL competitions. Combining musical excellence with dynamic visual performance, the marching band is a cornerstone of our program and a source of school pride. Every fall, students build leadership, teamwork, and endurance while creating unforgettable memories on and off the field.
Color Guard
Our award-winning Color Guard brings music to life through visual artistry. During marching season, the Color Guard adds pageantry and flair to field performances with choreography, flags, rifles, and sabres. In the winter months, students participate in Indoor Color Guard, a competitive activity that blends dance, theater, and equipment work to tell compelling stories and showcase individual talent.
