Mr. Evan Berry serves as the Director of Bands for the Pieper Band of Warriors, where he leads all facets of the high school band program and oversees vertical alignment with the cluster middle schools—Pieper Ranch and Bulverde. At Pieper High School, he directs the award-winning Band of Warriors Marching Band, the Wind Ensemble (varsity concert band), and the Concert Band (sub non-varsity ensemble), while also assisting with the remaining concert ensembles and jazz band.

Now in his 13th year as a music educator, Mr. Berry brings a wealth of experience from prior roles in the San Antonio area, having served as an assistant director at James Madison and Steele High Schools before becoming the Director of Bands at MacArthur High School from 2016 to 2021. He has led the Pieper High School band program since its founding in fall 2021.

Beyond the classroom, Mr. Berry is a respected figure in the Drum and Bugle Corps activity, having taught on the brass faculties of the Crossmen (2015), The Cadets (2016), and the Boston Crusaders (2017–present). As a performer, he marched with Jersey Surf and The Cadets, earning a DCI World Championship title in 2011 as part of The Cadets' trumpet section.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Duquesne University and remains an active clinician, consultant, and adjudicator for both concert and marching ensembles across the United States.
